ABSTRACT
The focus of this paper is to propose an analytical model for the operation of TCP over multi-copy SR ARQ systems on wireless fading channels. A major contribution of this paper is a competent analytical approach which promotes better behavior understanding of the wireless link layer protocol with correlated errors and the interaction between end-to-end TCP and local link layer protocol. The analytical TCP model suggested by Padhye is also reinvestigated in the wireless portion of the network. The accuracy of the analytical model is validated by simulation.
